Me in a nutshell!

Hello! My name is Shana Shamoon and I am 22 years old.  I was born in Modesto, CA and have been living in Arizona for 9 years.  I have an identical twin sister and older brothers who are twins as well.

I have a big family; a lot cousins, aunts, and uncles.  My family is the most important thing to me and we are all pretty close.  With that being said, spending time with my family and friends is what I spend a lot of time doing.  Growing up, sports were a pretty big deal in my house.  ESPN was and is always on. With most of my family being from/living in Chicago we grew up being die hard Chicago Bears fans and Chicago bulls fans; no matter where we lived.  But of all the sports, soccer was always my favorite.  I love to play soccer. 
    
Other than spending time with family and friends, I really enjoy reading. I tend to forget whats going on around me and lose track of time when I'm reading. It's always, "Okay I'll read one more chapter and then that's it," and it usually ends with me finishing the whole book. 

My goals in attending GCC are to finish my prerequisites and be able to transfer into Midwestern's pharmacy program.  I hope to accomplish that goal after two more semesters.

    I love the Chicago Bulls!!! When I was six my Grandma Judy got me a Michael Jordan jersey. I still have it to this day! The 90's were my favorite for them. Dennis Rodman and Scottie Pippen were awesome but I always favored Jordan.

    Good start here, Shana. You have addressed the necessary aspects of this first post and have supported them visually as well. Consider changing the color of your font as the white text on this background is at times difficult to read and could discourage an audience from participating in your blog.
